Building Foundations of Scientific Understanding - BFSU

After lots of internet research and countless hours of reading about science curriculum, I've decided to use BFSU.  It does require some extra prep work on my part, but it gives me the guide I need for "what comes next," as well as the important science language and explanations.  I LOVE teaching through books, and this allows for and encourages that!  Our public library is small, but has an amazing loaning system so I am able reserve a very large percentage of the books recommended in the manual for each lesson.  My plan is teach/work on one lesson a week (although some lessons we'll stretch out longer based on our interest level and how many interesting resources we find!).
